It began the contactless revolution, paving the way for contactless cards in a wide range of applications including access management, employee ID, student ID, public transport, event ticketing, cashless vending and more.
MIFARE Classic EV1 is the latest evolution of this popular contactless technology and succeeds all previous versions of the technology.
Constructed compliant to ISO standards, these MIFARE Classic EV1 cards are CR80 size (standard credit card size) with a thickness of approximately 820 microns / 0.03” and are finished in a premium gloss, suitable for printing with any standard ID Card Printer.
Operating in the same manner as MIFARE Classic EV1 1K and retaining the same ISO compliance. these reduced memory cards share the same functionality but with only 32 Bytes of memory, making them an ideal, cost-effective option for those just using the in-built card ID number.
Compliant to ISO/IEC 14443 Type A, MIFARE Classic EV1 Reduced Memory cards operate at a frequency of 13.56Mhz, feature a 4 Byte NUID and 32 Byte EEPROM, arranged in 2 blocks, with a data retention period of 10 years and a read/write endurance of 200,000 cycles.
