NTAG 424 DNA is the next generation of NTAG, setting a new standard for NFC & IoT applications, with state-of-the-art security and privacy features including AES-128 cryptographic operation and a new SUN – Secure Unique NFC feature which generates tap-unique authentication for every read on an NFC mobile device.
NTAG 424 DNA offers compatibility with standard RFID (13.56Mhz) systems as well as full NFC compliance, offering many usage options including access management, employee ID, etc as well as product authentication, digital business cards, URL sharing, calls to action and more, thanks to full compatibility with all NFC devices, including both Android and iOS devices.
Constructed compliant to ISO standards, these NTAG 424 DNA cards are CR80 size (standard credit card size) with a thickness of approximately 820 microns / 0.03” and are finished in a premium gloss, suitable for printing with any standard ID Card Printer.
Compliant to ISO/IEC 14443 Type A & ISO/IEC 7816-4, NTAG 424 DNA cards operate at a frequency of 13.56Mhz, feature a 7 Byte UID and 416-bytes of user memory, arranged in three standard data files; one of 32 bytes for the capability file, one of 256 bytes for NDEF storage and one of 128 bytes for protected data. NTAG 424 DNA boasts a data retention period of 50 years and a read/write endurance of at least 200,000 cycles.
