MIFARE® DESFire® EV3 Blank White PVC Cards

Mifare DESFire EV3 is the third evolution of the DESFire EV1 card and is ideal for a range of applications including advanced public transportation, access management, closed-loop micropayment, university and student ID and loyalty programs.

Constructed compliant to ISO standards, these MIFARE DESFire EV3 cards are CR80 size (standard credit card size) with a thickness of approximately 820 microns / 0.03” and are finished in a premium gloss to enable easy personalisation and print on any standard ID Card Printer.

Operating at a frequency of 13.56MHz, DESFire EV3 is based on open global standards for both air interface and cryptographic methods, featuring read/write capabilities and are compliant to ISO/IEC 14443 type A 1-4 and ISO/IEC 7816.

They benefit from a unique 7 Byte UID and on-chip backup management system that can hold unlimited applications (as the memory file supports) and 32 files per application. Flexible key management allows new applications to be loaded after the card has been issued in the field.

DESFire EV3 cards feature increased operating distances compared to the EV1 & EV2 versions due to lower power consumption. Faster processing of data can also be achieved with the transfer rates up to 848 Kbit/s.
