MIFARE Plus S is designed as the next generation of Mifare Classic, maintaining compatibility while offering an upgrade path to existing infrastructure.
Constructed compliant to ISO standards, these MIFARE Plus S cards are CR80 size (standard credit card size) with a thickness of approximately 820 microns / 0.03” and are finished in a premium gloss, suitable for printing with any standard ID Card Printer.
Mifare Plus S utilises AES-128 for authentication, data integrity and encryption and is based on open global standards for both air interface and cryptographic methods.
Compliant to ISO/IEC 14443 Type A, MIFARE Plus S cards operate at a frequency of 13.56Mhz, feature a 4 Byte NUID and 2K EEPROM, arranged in 32 sectors of 4 blocks, with each block consisting of 16 bytes.
Mifare Plus S cards offer a data retention period of 10 years, with a write endurance of 200000 cycles, supports NXP originality checks to ensure cards are genuine, multi-sector authentication, multi-block read & write operations and are suitable for printing and personalisation on any standard ID Card printer.
This variant adds a 4000oe Mag Stripe, providing additional functionality and usage options.
